Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.This opportunity applies to applicants legally eligible to work in the United States.Qualifications:BA/BS Degree with minimum additional experience of 10 year(s) in XML and HTML design and codingFamiliarity with Encoded Archival Description (EAD), an XML based schema, desirable. Previous experience with NPS CMS a plus, but not required.Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS TeamsoXygen or XMetalDuties:Assist with the development of tools to facilitate the publication of archival descriptive information on the NPS website. Advise on data conversion, template formatting, style sheet development, and other web publication tools. Review draft templates for quality control and validating of XML coding and HTML conversion.Review drafts of tools for technical compliance, data inter-operability, and workflow efficiencies. 50%Consult and provide suggestions for template development, software, and/or other technical tools to facilitate successful project deliverables. Troubleshoot and advise on technical roadblocks. 40%Collaborate with park museum staff, key individuals stakeholders in assigned program/career field, and individuals and organizations both inside and outside NPS.
