Protect the health and welfare of the public by defending the station against any act of radiological sabotage, attack, or theft of special nuclear material. As specified by procedure and the site security plan, maintain a secure perimeter for site access and egress and employee, contractor and visitor entry. Perform search, patrol, and inspections in accordance with the station security plan, procedures, and post orders.
The starting hourly rate is $24.36/hour (non-negotiable). Pay rate increases upon the successful completion of specific training and benchmarks. Employees who meet the required criteria are eligible to earn up $36+/hour after 3 years in role.

Nuclear site-specific training and testing providing general knowledge of nuclear power generation science and principles, this training and testing will include radiation worker principles including respirator training, fit and dress out preferred qualifications: individuals with prior military current/prior law enforcement or criminal justice prior armed security experience
