Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Clovis, California. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. This position requires someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision. - Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. - Oversee bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed. - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions through systematic bookkeeping. - Assist with month-end close processes by preparing and reviewing financial reports. - Input and update financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets. - Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial information. - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles in all financial tasks. - Collaborate with team members to address accounting inquiries and provide support when needed. Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience demonstrating attention to detail. - Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. - Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting. - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Effective organizational and time management skills. - Familiarity with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to accuracy.
