Overview RH Strategic is seeking a strategic and action-oriented Community Engagement Manager (Grassroots & Influencer Strategy) to build and mobilize online communities around high-impact issues. This client-facing role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of grassroots organizing, digital influence, and public affairs. You know how to turn campaign insights into compelling outreach strategies, and you are energized by working across teams to create moments of impact, online and on the ground. This is a full-time role based in Seattle, requiring an in-office presence of at least three days per week. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Design and implement grassroots acquisition and activation strategies, as well as community and influencer engagement strategies in support of campaign objectives Translate social listening and campaign insights into proactive community activation and influencer engagement tactics Identify key narrative windows, digital moments, or news cycles for strategic amplification or activation Influencer & Third-Party Engagement Manage outreach to third-party stakeholders, including paid and unpaid influencers, community voices, and industry advocates, to extend campaign impact Build and maintain a high-trust network of partners and digital ambassadors aligned with client priorities Draft influencer briefs, talking points, and support materials that align with brand and campaign objectives Grassroots Acquisition & Activation Draft compelling grassroots outreach content, including email campaigns, digital messaging, and social copy Collaborate with creative, content, and digital media teams to align community engagement with broader campaign storytelling Explore and recommend emerging digital spaces (e.g., Reddit, Discord, regional Facebook groups) for outreach and message amplification Execution & Optimization Track and create comprehensive reports on outreach efforts, influencer engagement, and community response Provide strategic recommendations for ongoing optimization and expansion of grassroots impact Monitor special interest groups and regional networks to identify new engagement opportunities Requirements 4-6 years of experience in PR, digital strategy, grassroots organizing or community engagement. Agency background strongly preferred. Demonstrated success with third-party advocacy Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in client-facing environments Experience working in integrated communication environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams Familiarity with social platforms, digital ecosystems, and grassroots organizing best practices and grassroots platforms such as Speak4, Quorum and Nation Builder Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Pay and Benefits Salary: $75,000-$95,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. The Company may, in its discretion, also offer an annual bonus in an amount, if any, to be determined by the Company. Bonuses are not guaranteed. Benefits: Insurance: 100% paid base premium for the employee’s medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and long-term disability insurances. Transportation Subsidy: $100 per month. Paid Time Off: 16 days of annual PTO, 12 firm holidays, 1 floating day off, and 1 paid day of service. Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with automatic, fully vested match.
