About the Role Rooftop Chimney Sweeps is seeking skilled individuals with construction experience — especially masonry, chimney, or exterior building — to join our team as Chimney Repair Technicians.
Your primary focus will be on traditional chimney work : rebuilding and repairing chimneys, installing flue liners, restoring fireboxes, and performing exterior masonry repairs. Over time, you’ll also receive training in gas line installation and gas appliance installation to broaden your skillset and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Rebuild and repair chimneys, crowns, and fireboxes.
Install stainless steel flue liners and chimney caps.
Perform tuckpointing, waterproofing, and masonry restoration.
Assist with wood stove and fireplace installations.
Learn to run and connect gas lines to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
Maintain tools, materials, and ensure job site safety.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly on every job.
Requirements
Construction or masonry experience required (chimney experience is a plus).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 60 lbs., work at heights, and in confined spaces.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Willingness to learn additional skills in gas systems and appliance installation.
