The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crisis Program Coordinator who embodies our core values of Compassion, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, Collaboration, and Innovation. The Crisis Program Coordinator will report to the Crisis Program Manager and play a crucial role in managing the operations and coordination of crisis response, outreach, and prevention services. This role is essential for ensuring effective day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of documentation and service delivery. The Coordinator will also provide direct service to individuals in crisis as needed. Responsibilities: Develop and manage the crisis shift schedule to ensure adequate coverage and effective response times. Coordinate with crisis and outreach teams to handle schedule adjustments and staffing needs. Oversee the scheduling and implementation of outreach and prevention programs, including Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training and community outreach efforts. Ensure programs are delivered effectively and align with organizational goals. Assist in managing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the program. Address and resolve operational issues as they arise. Supervise and provide guidance to Engagement Specialists, Off Hours Staff, Crisis and Outreach Workers, and Mobile Case Managers. Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation submitted by staff. Maintain compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations. Facilitate communication between different program components to ensure cohesive service delivery. Education: Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, or a related field required. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mental health or social services environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Personal experience with mental health or substance use services is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well with diverse populations. Experience in advocating for and linking clients to community resources. Ability to manage high-stress situations with calm and professionalism. Demonstrates strong time management skills by effectively prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Treatment skills in the areas of mental health assessment, treatment plan development, and individual, family and group counseling with youth and adults. Possession and maintenance of a valid state driver’s license and documentation of current insurance coverage. Schedule: Flexibility: Must work 4-5 days per week, including at least two evening days.
