Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Processing requests from Sales, Representatives, and Customers, including data entry, order processing, scheduling, and delivery to production.
Responding to concerns regarding order status.
Building and maintaining rapport with customers.
Following up on order inquiries, coordinating with production on deliveries and shipments, and liaising with other departments to ensure order completion.
Handling the needs of Representatives, customers, and CS personnel for assigned areas.
Offering alternatives to customers as necessary to meet their needs.
Reviewing orders for product data such as types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
Maintaining inventory controls and levels, determining material requirements, releasing orders to vendors, expediting when necessary, and ordering special materials.
Collaborating with Management and Marketing to prepare specifications for quality, quantity, delivery, and service to meet customer and sales needs. Assisting with catalog shoots, trade shows, and training materials.
Supplying materials to Engineering upon request.
Keeping all parties informed about order status.
Expediting rush orders, order changes, cancellations, and addressing material shortages or other issues affecting shipping schedules.
Maintaining contacts with sales representatives and customers to follow up and stay informed on needs and satisfaction.
Assisting with product releases and coordinating with Marketing on catalog distribution.
Pricing samples for intercompany and international requests.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Education:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
Ability to build positive working relationships.
Teamwork skills and ability to excel in a collaborative environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Proactive problem-solving skills in logistics and commitment to customer service.
Ability to initiate action and address problems effectively.
