What You'll Be Doing
Operate a front-end loader to move and load materials safely and efficiently
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate pit operations
Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies or hazards
Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations
What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a quarry or similar environment
Strong awareness of safety practices and hazard recognition
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment inspections and minor maintenance
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
Must meet all company and regulatory safety requirements
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
Physical Demands of the Job
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift
Must be able to operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
Requires use of hands and feet to control equipment and tools
Visual and auditory ability to detect safety hazards and communicate effectively
May involve working at heights or in confined spaces
