Taylor Visual Impressions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking an Estimator to join their team in Duluth, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for the quick and efficient processing of quotes for multiple product lines and maintaining a balance between company profitability and the ability to secure the order. Responsibilities include receiving and responding to quote requests from sales and customer service, reviewing and preparing responses to RFPs, understanding cost pricing structures, evaluating processes and procedures, developing effective working relationships with sales management and vendors, researching materials for efficient production and costing, estimating job costs and applying appropriate markups, maintaining estimating systems, working with suppliers to understand production capabilities, analyzing and negotiating vendor pricing, quoting alternative items to meet requirements, planning cost-efficient work processes, and proactively communicating quote status. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience, advanced negotiation skills, knowledge of press capabilities and printing procedures, understanding of print processes and paper knowledge, proficiency with computerized estimating systems, strong math and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, on-site.
