Job Title: Event Planner

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Duration: 5 months (Potential extension up to 2 years)

Pay Rate: $35–$40/hr.

Travel Requirement: Up to 25% overnight travel

Seeking an experienced and highly organized Event Planner to support the Agricultural Products North America (APN) business by managing and executing multiple high-impact events. This role involves end-to-end planning of corporate tradeshows, customer engagements, internal conferences, and media events, ensuring exceptional attendee experiences while aligning with business goals. The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with strong stakeholder communication, budgeting experience, and the ability to manage complex event logistics in both physical and digital formats.

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale events, including tradeshows, customer functions, internal meetings, and media events.
• Manage all event logistics: venue sourcing, contracts, agendas, AV requirements, room layouts, catering, transportation, signage, branding, sponsorships, and post-event reporting.
• Ensure continuous stakeholder communication to align logistics with business objectives and deliver successful event outcomes.
• Negotiate with vendors and oversee contracts to secure services, control costs, and maintain quality.
• Serve as the on-site lead at events to oversee smooth execution and resolve any issues in real time.
• Utilize event registration platforms and mobile event apps to support attendee engagement and data tracking.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience planning and executing corporate or large-scale events.
• Proficiency with event technology platforms, including registration systems and mobile apps.
