Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a Logistics Scheduler to join their team. As a Logistics Scheduler, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting production and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to dynamic work environments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Logistics Scheduler

Location:  Forest City, Iowa (2nd or 3rd shift hours )

Pay Range: $18 per hour W-2 
Duration: 6+ month contract 

What's the Job?

• Coordinate production schedules to meet customer needs and ensure work order requirements are fulfilled.
• Assist in controlling inventory and process orders with detailed scheduling data and special instructions.
• Collaborate with team members to manage daily workload and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Respond rapidly to production needs and adjust schedules as necessary for optimal workflow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall supply chain efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Between 1 and 2 years of related experience in logistics, scheduling, or supply chain management.
• High School Diploma or GED completed prior to start date.
• Post-secondary training or apprenticeship in relevant procedures and methods.
• Strong coordination, communication, and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift depending on shift availability.
