Our Farmer, Justin Head, is now the only organic farmer in Robertson County. He made the switch to the better side of farming in 2015, and has slowly grown his farm’s footprint ever since. We care about the quality of the products that we give our customers, so we go the extra mile on the farm to ensure it.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Meat Manager to oversee the meat department operations at our grocery store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring quality standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

• Supervise and train meat department staff
• Manage inventory levels and order products as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
• Oversee meat preparation, packaging, and display
• Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat department

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a meat management role preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Strong meat cutting and merchandising skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of inventory management in the food industry
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food production processes
• Certification in food safety or culinary training is a plus 
• Whole carcass beef cutting experience preferred.
