Plans and performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, tests, fabrications, and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work all while working in a clean room.
What You Will Do: \n - Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
\n - Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
\n - Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
\n - Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
\n - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
\n - Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
\n - Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
\n - Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
\n - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
\n - Equipment Maintenance.
\n - Will need to successfully pass Collins Aerospace training program, which will occur the first month on the job.

Qualifications You Must Have: \n - Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
\n - U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident/green card, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Qualifications We Prefer: \n - Experience with electronics manufacturing processes
\n - Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions
\n - Must successfully pass Collins Aerospace training program which will occur in the first month of the job.
\n - Experience working in a clean room environment.

Shift: \n - 2nd Shift - 3:00PM-12:30AM (9/80 Schedule)
