Job Description

Responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure, with a focus on structured fiber cabling, server hardware, and network equipment. This role supports both engineering design work and hands?on operational tasks within the data center environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations, structured cabling, and fiber optic systems.
• Strong problem?solving skills and hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with data center power, cooling, and connectivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement structured fiber trunk cabling and support break?fix activities.
• Install, remove, and maintain servers, cabling, and networking hardware.
• Test, troubleshoot, and remediate fiber optic and copper cabling issues.
• Diagnose hardware and Layer 1 connectivity faults.
• Support rack power, connectivity planning, and day?to?day data center operations.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
• Work with ticketing systems such as Jira and ServiceNow.
• Use DCIM and CMDB tools for infrastructure tracking and management.
