Job Title: Pharmacist - West Jordan, UT

Essential Skills

• PharmD, BS in Pharmacy, or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Pharmacist license in UT, with a validity of at least 6 months.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to self-manage with minimal oversight.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE

• 6:00 am to 2pm, M-F
• 3pm to 11pm Sun-Thurs, Fri/sat off
• 4x10 1pm-11pm, Sunday-Wed

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer operating systems such as Intercom, Promise, and Plus.
• Experience in a pharmacy fulfillment center or mail order site.
• Experience in motivating team members to research and resolve issues.
• Time management skills, including prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details to meet deadlines for multiple projects with varying completion dates.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for our fulfillment center to manage specialty prescriptions for a busy chain. The role involves providing prescription verification and exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring the accuracy of dispensing medication, and optimizing inventory management and financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions and review data to ensure accuracy.
• Work independently and in collaboration with pharmacy staff to fulfill prescriptions.
• Provide support to pharmacy staff by staying up-to-date with pharmacy systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, clinical documentation, training, and inventory management.
• Act as a people manager for the staff, answering any and all questions regarding prescriptions filled on-site.
• Ensure compliance with company and HIPAA guidelines/regulations, as well as federal, state, and local pharmacy laws.

Work Environment

The position is based in a fulfillment center dedicated to filling specialty or delicate prescriptions not typically kept on-site in a retail pharmacy, such as infusion drugs. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and adherence to strict compliance standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
