Role: QA Engineer with Playwright

Location: Santa Clara, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing automation test strategies using Playwright , integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and driving quality across web and microservices-based applications.

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) .
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps ).
• Implement and execute test plans and test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, test coverage, and code quality.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues found during testing and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to automation strategy planning and reporting.

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript .
• Solid understanding of automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Platform (MCP) and web technologies.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API test automation (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
