Research Coordinator – World Trade Center Environmental Health Center Join NYU Langone Health as a Research Coordinator in the World Trade Center Environmental Health Center (WTC EHC) Survivor Program, a federally funded research and treatment program serving residents, community members, and local workers exposed to the World Trade Center disaster. Position Summary As the Research Coordinator, you will interface with members receiving treatment through the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP), inform members about the NYU/Bellevue World Trade Center Health Impacts Research Registry, conduct informed consent and report enrollment data. You will provide support on projects and program functions, travel between the Health + Hospitals Central Office and WTC EHC research sites, and work under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Data Center Director and Principal Investigator. Job Responsibilities Study Regulations: Maintain up‑to‑date regulatory documents and assist with informed consent. Continuous Learning: Complete annual continuing education in research development; training provided through SOM, Health + Hospitals, and NIOSH. Registry Recruitment: Follow up with patients, address member questions, recruit potential participants, provide registry information, and manage outreach materials. Reporting & Analysis: Compile and analyze data, prepare reports for sponsors and regulatory agencies, monitor consent data, and generate preliminary measurement reports. Administrative: Prepare regulatory submissions, secure signatures, maintain records, develop agendas, file documents, manage calendars and participate in special projects. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration, or related field. Minimum two years progressive project coordination experience, preferably in a research setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications. Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to interact at all levels. Teamwork and independent work capabilities, time‑management, multitasking, and problem‑solving under pressure. Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and operate research‑related equipment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with research protocols and working in an academic medical center. Experience using REDCap.
