Locums - York, Pennsylvania Area - Rheumatologist Job (IMLC Welcome)
Clinical Role
Locum tenens opening
Seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible rheumatologist
Start date: January 1 onward
Responsibilities:
Office visits & video visits
APP supervision (full-time)
In-basket support (admin/clinical tasks)
Hospital consults: 0-5 per month
After-hours calls: 0-5 per month (mostly outpatient calls)
Call Schedule
Shared with APP (usually every other week)
Mostly outpatient calls
Rare hospital consults (often via EMR/phone, typically during office hours)
Shifts Per Month
10-20 shifts
Schedule
Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 8:00a-4:30p, then call 4:30p-8:00a
Weekends (Sat-Sun): 24-hour call, 8:00a-8:00a
APP shifts: 8:00a-4:30p
Workload Info
Outpatients per day: 12-16
Outpatients per night: 0-5
Procedures: Joint injections
EMR: EPIC
