Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a skilled Social Worker to support students in an educational setting in Flint, MI. This opportunity spans the ESY (Extended School Year) period, starting immediately and continuing through the end of the current school year. The caseload is divided between two locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective social work services tailored to general education students and those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Manage and ensure proper implementation of IEPs while collaborating closely with school staff and parents.
• Monitor student progress and develop strategies to promote academic and social success.
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs within the school environment.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant educational guidelines and licensing requirements across both buildings.

Qualifications:

• Active licensure with a 310 Social Worker certificate.
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably with a caseload that includes both general and special education students.
• Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education laws.
• Proven skills in progress monitoring and student support strategies.

• Flint, Michigan; services provided across two school buildings.
