Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a dedicated social worker specializing in K-12 school settings. This role offers the chance to support students across all grade levels, contributing to their social and emotional well-being in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive social and emotional assessments for students.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address a variety of student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop intervention plans.
• Assist in crisis intervention and support positive behavioral outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school-based protocols.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Professional social work credentials suitable for school settings.
• Hold a valid New York State (NSY) license or equivalent certification.
• Bilingual skills are preferred to better serve a diverse student population.
• Experience working within K-12 educational environments is highly valued.
• Proven ability to conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies.

Schedule and Commitment:

• Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
• Contract duration for one full semester, providing consistency for student support.

Location:

• Position is based in Warren, MI, serving K-12 schools.
