Full job description

We are a Digital Marketing Agency, seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced SEO Manager to join our Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience successfully managing and growing Local SEO campaigns for clients, preferably at the agency level. Beyond campaign management, the SEO manager should be able to speak to customers about their campaigns and analytics when needed, and to mentor junior SEO marketing specialists.

SEO Manager Job Duties

  • Preparing Initial Site Audits, Keyword Research, and Benchmarking reports.
  • Preparing and adhering to timelines for client campaigns.
  • Meeting with clients to discuss strategy and reporting.
  • Ongoing campaign assessment and refinement.
  • Reporting campaign progress at regular intervals.
  • QA work done by other team members to ensure the highest quality marketing for clients.
  • Implement best practices for SEO on client sites in order to drive rankings and ROI.
  • Work in tools such as Reputation, Birdeye, BrightLocal, Moz, SEMRush.

Professional Experience and Training Should Include:

  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in search engine optimization and marketing.
  • Must have knowledge of SEO strategies, tactics and best practices.
  • Must possess a high level of sophistication in terms of communicating via phone, video conference, and email.
  • Must be familiar in depth with common SEO tools.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • The ability to multitask and set a work schedule for maximum efficiency.
  • Significant SEO/SEM knowledge and the ability to set SEO strategy
  • Experience with various Analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of html, web design, PPC management, and social media marketing are all great pluses.
  • Experience conducting keyword research and developing effective targeting strategies to reach our target audience.
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, etc.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for optimization and work with the marketing team to implement improvements.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO, agency experience a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Local SEO.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Reputation, Birdeye, BrightLocal, Moz, SEMRush, and SEMrush.
  • Experience with website optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
