Groovy Plants Ranch exists to be a plant oasis full of botanical oddities for everyone to experience. We want all who visit to feel welcomed, comfortable asking questions, and to enjoy their time here. GPR is more than a store; it is an imaginative plant experience. We provide plants in all categories that are both expected favorites and hard-to-find or unusual. Groovyplantsranch.com exists to translate the GPR experience online and provide high-quality plants to customers in all 50 states.
About the Role
As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for the planting and health of all plant materials. This role is crucial for maintaining the high quality of our products from planting to the retail floor. Shifts are typically 8.5 hours long

What You’ll Do
• Plant management
o Water plants as needed, including spot watering throughout the day
o Clean and remove plants that are damaged, have pests, or are dead of the growing area
• Work with the growing/production team leaders to plant, maintain, move, etc plants as needed
• Work as part of the production line to efficiently pot plant material
• Communicate clearly with teammates and managers and be willing and able to ask questions in case of uncertainty or need for additional guidance.
• Handle a high volume of work for extended periods while maintaining quality
• Work outside in proper gear in inclement weather including cold, heat, rain, and snow
• With training, work with and operate a variety of equipment and materials
Physical Requirements
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Able to work on your feet for the duration of your shift.
• Able to climb, push, pull, bend and squat throughout the duration of a shift.
