As a Security Guard – Government Site - Multiple Shifts in Carson City, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or the public while upholding site-specific requirements.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
