As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site - Weekdays in Winnemucca, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility to help deter security-related incidents, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control measures. You will interact with staff, visitors, and patients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address any concerns or questions. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as necessary to address incidents and support site operations.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge procedures is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
