Role Summary Senior Medical Writer in the Medical Communications team at Costello Medical. You will lead medical communication projects, providing strategic advice, supervising teams, producing high‑quality scientific content, managing projects and engaging with clients to drive business growth. Responsibilities Take a leading role across a variety of medical communication projects. Provide strategic advice to clients and supervise the project team. Produce high‑quality scientific content and review colleagues' work. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to high standards. Maintain project timelines, budgets and resource planning. Build and maintain excellent client relationships. Contribute to business development (writing proposals, identifying new clients). Provide constructive feedback and support junior colleagues. Qualifications Degree or higher in a scientific discipline (minimum GPA 3.3). At least 2 years’ experience in medical communications or publications outside academia. Strong scientific writing skills, with ability to tailor style to different audiences. Project‑management skills enabling timely delivery. Excellent written English and data‑presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience communicating directly with clients and building enduring relationships. Proficiency in supporting and developing junior team members. Motivation to lead and drive project components. Compensation & Benefits Base salary $90,000 – $100,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications). Discretionary profit‑share bonus paid twice a year. Flexible remote/hybrid working (up to half time from home). Paid vacation (23 days, increasing to 27) plus public holidays.
