Onward Search Education is actively seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter for a contracted, on-site position supporting secondary school students in the Silverdale, Washington area for the 2025–26 school year.

Position Details:

• Start Date: September 3, 2025
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: On-site at schools in Silverdale, WA
• Assignment Type: Payrolled, contract position
• Setting: Secondary education (middle/high school level)
• Role Type: 1:1 student support

Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpreting services between spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL)
• Support a single student in academic and school-related activities
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure accessibility and understanding
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in all educational settings

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., EIPA score of 3.5+, RID, or equivalent)
• Experience in K–12 or secondary school environments preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Silverdale, WA
