Temple University’s Office of Enrollment Management is looking for a Student Success Specialist
Position Summary:
Working under the guidance of the Assistant Vice Provost - Student Success and Director, One Stop Student Services Center within the Division of Enrollment Management, the Student Success Specialist will play a vital role in supporting a diverse population of students in a coordinated effort throughout their academic journey. The primary responsibility will be to advocate for students by providing proactive outreach and helping them navigate campus resources to overcome challenges and ensure their success at Temple. This position will practice data-driven outreach, proactive resource referral, and timely/holistic interventions to meet the needs of students, especially those with complex issues that may span multiple offices/areas. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires a background check and Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.
Required Education & Experience:
*Bachelor's degree required and two (2) years of directly related student services experience working in academic advising, academic support, financial aid, student affairs, or related field in higher education.
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; Ability to learn new and emerging technologies.
*Familiarity with student information systems.
Preferred Skills:
*Proficient in common University-specific computer application programs such as Banner, TUMarketplace, Concur, Kronos and Taleo or similar ERP systems.
*Ability to assist processing graduate TA/RA contracts, including verifying eligibility, tracking funding source, coordinating with Payroll, and ensuring compliance with institutional and union guidelines
This position is assigned as Onsite.

Salary Range: $35,600 - $50,000
