Job Description A Japanese food enzyme manufacturer is seeking an Order Entry Processor.
Job Title: Order Entry Processor
Pay range :
$23-$28 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Temp-to-perm (conversion after approx. 3 months based on performance and mutual fit)
Work Hours: Flex-time schedule with core hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
(standard 37.5 hours per week, may work up to 40 hours if needed)
Work Arrangement: On-site, Monday through Friday (hybrid schedule available after direct hire)
Summary Responsible for supporting Operations by promoting an atmosphere of teamwork and contributing to the ultimate company goal of exceeding sales, profit, and customer satisfaction benchmarks.
Duties and Responsibilities Include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Processes customer sales orders.
- Processes customer sample requests and updates sample manifest.
- Processes purchase orders and enters PO confirmation dates.
- Communicates with AEJ about product availability and ship dates.
- Provides customers with order confirmations as needed.
- Responds to incoming order-related inquiries including material availability and pricing.
- Resolves customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner.
- Promotes a cooperative and constructive atmosphere.
- Supports other departments as time permits.
- Coordinates shipping schedules with Logistics.
- Provides support to Technical Sales Department and Logistics as needed.
- Assists with intradepartmental back-up as needed.
- Implements 5S Pillars within workplace.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Food Safety Reporting Responsibilities - Responsibility to report any and all food safety problems or concerns to the proper personnel authorized to initiate action.
