Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a level I trauma center with alternating day/night or night-only shifts and MA RN licensure required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care level I trauma center
• Rotating day/night shift schedule with four-week rotations, or straight nights available
• Every other weekend and holiday availability required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Position involves providing emergency care in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma setting
• Candidates must be able to commute using public transportation or pay for public parking, as no validated parking is available on site
• Holiday coverage is required per unit schedule
• Timekeeping is conducted through the UKG/Kronos system
• Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active, unencumbered MA RN license required at the time of consideration; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Current certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and seasonal flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
