This role supports critical patient care in a dynamic environment including trauma rooms, pediatrics, stroke, behavioral health, and rapid evaluation units. You will be integral in assisting with cardiac arrest situations, trauma care, and patient assessments. Key Responsibilities Assist nursing staff and physicians with patient care orders and procedures Perform vital signs, 12 Lead EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, and cardiac monitoring Support care for a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, behavioral health, and COVID-19 patients (1:1 contact) Float as needed to various ED and overflow units Function efficiently during trauma and stroke events 10453762EXPPLATJob RequirementsQualifications Required: MD EMT or CNA license Minimum 1 year of acute care facility experience Preferred certifications: ACLS, BLS, EMT/ERT, MAB Preferred experience in trauma Level II and teaching hospital environments Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and high patient volume (~200 visits/day) Must complete agency-provided Advanced EKG testing before orientation About Cambay Healthcare LLCPartnering with you to build the best healthcare teamsCambay Healthcare is uniquely positioned to meet your specialized staffing needs.
