Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with recent Epic experience and a current OH or Compact license for night shift positions.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Med/Surg Telemetry patient population
• Epic EMR is used and recent experience is required
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Must complete modules and onsite fingerprinting prior to start
• Returning employees must have a 1-year gap since last employment at the facility
• Negative 10 panel plus Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements
• No open background check cases will be accepted
• PAPRs will not be considered an alternative for caregivers with facial hair unless there's a medical or religious exemption
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active, permanent OH RN license or valid Compact license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience prior to travel
• Recent (within 6 months) experience with Epic charting required
• One recent supervisory reference in the specialty required for consideration
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
