Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Same Day Surgery position in Nevada, requiring a NV state RN license and at least 2 years of same day surgery experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the Same Day Surgery department in an outpatient hospital setting
• Assignment is for a 13-week contract
• Shift consists of four 10-hour variable shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR system; orientation training or test out available
• KRONOS timekeeping system is utilized
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Must work at least 2 major holidays during the contract
• All requested time off (RTO) must be arranged at the time of consideration; additional time will not be added at the end of the contract
• There are no exceptions for blocked scheduling requests
• First-time travelers may apply if all listed requirements are met

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Nevada RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in same day surgery
• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after contract completion
