Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (4x12s available by request)
\n• 13-52 week assignments available by request
\n• 1:6 patient ratios (may flex up to 1:7)
\n• Weekend requirement: Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
\n• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract (2 holidays during winter season)
\n• Required to float within skillset
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• 24 hours of orientation provided
\n• Previous charge and precepting experience required
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
\n• Must be proficient in Med/Surg care with experience using Rapid Response/Code teams
\n• Skilled in peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and isolation precautions
\n• Work with equipment including bladder scanners, hemovacs, external fixators, and IV pumps
\n• Care for patients with scheduled orthopedic surgeries, spine procedures, fracture repairs, and various other surgical procedures
\n• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with daily census of 24-27 patients
\n• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
\n• All time off requests must be included with submission
\n• First-time travelers accepted

This is a private, not-for-profit general acute care teaching hospital with 703 licensed beds. The facility serves as the region's only Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients and is a certified stroke center. The hospital is Magnet designated by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, recognizing excellence in nursing for more than twenty years. The facility is affiliated with multiple medical schools and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
