Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager, we will look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. Responsibilities

• Lead teams and work in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.
• Spend time on a variety of tax planning projects, responsibilities and tasks for a diverse client base, delivering up-to-date tax advice clients can rely on.
• Provide meaningful business insights by analyzing an evolving portfolio of increasingly complex tax operations.
• Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
• Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients' tax activities.
• Research clients' business operations and build long-lasting relationships to tailor advice to their needs.
• Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills and opportunities to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• Seven to ten years' real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
• Extensive knowledge in real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
• Experience managing budgets, people and projects; business development within the market.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context; ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.
• Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes.
• Willingness to travel as needed; able to work in a balanced hybrid environment.

• CPA qualification or state bar membership.

• The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr. Salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
