Job Description

UX Designer - Healthcare, B2C apps

Hybrid in Mountain View, CA, 4 days/week.

As a UX Designer, you will work with cross-disciplinary teams to develop meaningful UI/UX design, including brainstorming, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, and iterating based on research findings and documentation for B2C apps.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Work with lead designers creating meaningful experiences by delivering UX, UI design from concept through to shipping products
  • Provide intuitive and creative solutions for complex design problems
  • Work effectively with other designers, UX researchers, program managers, and hardware and software engineers in a highly collaborative environment
  • Utilize design thinking and user-centered approaches to communicate your design ideas effectively
  • Critically evaluate the success of your design and iterate for the best result to meet business goals
  • Document, organize, and share project plans to ensure effective coordination with cross-functional teams

Background, Experience& Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in interaction and visual design
  • Experience coming from a B2C healthcare-related industry is ideal. If not, consumer-facing product experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred in related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Principle, Keynote/PPT) for creating visual artifacts and presentations
  • Skilled in concept ideation, wireframing, UI design, and hi-fi prototyping
  • Solid portfolio with creative design works
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for articulating design concepts to teams and stakeholders. Comfortable working in self-directed teams, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and adapting to agile, startup-like environments
  • Motion/animation skills are a plus

Compensation: $45 - $57.47 per hour
