Qualifications: Must hold a current credential as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist issued by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) or the National Orientation and Mobility Certification (NOMC) issued by the National Blindness Professional Certification Board (NBPCB), and maintain certification for position. Terms: Full-time, 190 days Salary Schedule: LIUEA pay scale (As of 7/1/25: minimum bachelor's $59,172.22), plus benefits* *The LIU offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, including: Medical (for a nominal premium), dental and vision insurance. Dental & Vision are at no cost to the employee All full-time professional staff receive a $45,000 life insurance policy, at no cost to the employee. Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Short-term Disability Long-term Disability Public School Employees Retirement System (PSERS) Full-time employees who are scheduled for 188 days/year receive 10 sick days and 3 personal days.
