Bold Line Design (BLD):

Bold Line Design is an architecture firm that brings buildings to life by connecting visionary ideas with precise details through a collaborative, client-centered process. We believe big ideas start with bold lines—and we’re experts at transforming those lines into buildable, high-performance spaces that protect our clients’ investment and elevate the human experience within them. Our strength lies in the balance of dynamic design, high-quality construction documentation, and responsive client service. From early concept to final construction, we approach every project with creativity, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results on time and within budget. We proudly serve a diverse range of markets, including multi-family and single-family residential, mixed-use developments, hospitality, amenity spaces, retail, corporate office, senior living (independent, assisted, and memory care), affordable housing, student housing, and athletic facilities.

Why Join Us?

At Bold Line Design, we don’t just design buildings—we shape environments that work, inspire, and endure. Our open, fast-paced studio thrives on curiosity, creativity, and mutual respect. Architects and designers work side-by-side in real time, ensuring every project is both conceptually rigorous and technically sound. We empower our team to take ownership, grow professionally, and make a lasting impact.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Architectural Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience who is ready to contribute to the bold design and technical development of our projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life—from early concepts through construction—and wants to grow within a highly collaborative and design-driven studio. You’ll contribute to a wide range of project types and gain hands-on experience through all phases of design, translating creative ideas into thoughtful, buildable solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take ownership of design and documentation tasks for a wide variety of architectural projects
  • Develop high-quality construction documents that reflect client goals, design intent, and code compliance
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with consultants across all disciplines, including civil, structural, and MEP
  • Participate in projects through all phases from Schematic Design and Design Development to Construction Documents and Construction Administration
  • Participate in construction-phase activities such as site visits, field reports, and review of submittals and shop drawings
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, consultants, and clients
  • Work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Contribute to a culture centered on creativity, technical excellence, and continuous learning

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in an architectural office
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • Revit proficiency required
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of building codes and construction systems
  • Eagerness to grow and contribute in a fast-paced, design-focused environment
  • Licensure on track (preferred but not required)

Why Bold Line Design?

At BLD, we’re not just designing buildings—we’re building a studio culture that challenges norms, celebrates design, and supports professional growth. We offer a highly collaborative, creative work environment where everyone’s voice is heard and everyone’s work matters. If you’re ready to bring your bold ideas to life, we’re ready to BLD something great together.
