The Filtration Sales Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for territory growth, expanding direct sales, establishing professional relationships, and meeting targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. This position reports to the Western USCAN Filtration Zone Leader and is part of the Resin Filtration Media business unit, covering the San Francisco, CA region. Responsibilities: Contribute to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team, focusing on Filtration Consumables opportunities and supporting related technologies and equipment. Provide product expertise and independently identify opportunities. Develop sales of modality process solutions in the assigned region, establishing long-lasting technical customer relationships. Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, demonstrations, training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders, and promotional events. Lead technical discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts, offering troubleshooting and answering complex queries. Develop sales opportunities to meet business targets, managing leads and prospects using CRM software. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a relevant field. 2+ years of experience in the biotechnology industry, preferably with filtration and downstream processing. Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal. Problem-solving skills applicable to customer processes. Data analysis abilities for performance and sales trend reporting. Travel & Physical Requirements: Ability to travel approximately 30%, including overnight stays within the territory. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 35 lbs. Preferred Experience: GMP manufacturing experience. Process development knowledge, especially in clinical workflows. The salary range is $90,000-$130,000, plus performance-based incentives. Compensation details are subject to change.
