Job Description

We're partnering with an innovative financial institution at the intersection of fintech and banking. They’re looking for a Senior Operations Manager with strong fintech/ banking ops background to lead and scale operational strategy across both traditional banking and fintech platforms, including BaaS and embedded finance.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee core banking and fintech operations (ACH, wire, card issuing, fraud monitoring, reconciliation).
• Lead cross-functional teams in scaling fintech products and partnerships.
• Improve processes and ensure operational compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks (NACHA, Visa/Mastercard, etc.).
• Collaborate across departments: product, IT, compliance, and finance.
• Own operational KPIs, risk metrics, and performance analytics.

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Credentials:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as finance, business, IT, or a closely related area
• Postgraduate education or industry-recognized certifications (like PMP or Six Sigma) are highly desirable

Professional Background:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in operational roles within the banking, fintech, or Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) sectors
• Strong background in Data and Analytics
• A solid history of enhancing and managing complex operations in financial or tech-driven institutions
• Well-versed in payment infrastructures including ACH, wire transfers, BIN sponsorships, and card network protocols
• Experience in both high-growth startups and mature, structured organizations is a big plus
• Familiarity with Jack Henry banking software is advantageous

Core Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and people-first approach
• Deep knowledge of regulatory standards and financial compliance requirements
• Technically fluent in fintech systems, digital payment workflows, and financial reconciliation processes
• Practical experience working with fintech partners and navigating operational frameworks tied to BaaS models
